Essential Skills in the Workplace (ESiW)

The Welsh Government ‘ESiW’ initiative provides fully funded qualifications and training in three key areas:

ESiW was put in place for any employees that need and want to brush up on their essential skills such as:

• Learning how to use or further skills on a computer
• Use software applications
• Improve verbal and written communication skills
• Improve the way you apply number skills
• Gain new qualifications
• Build confidence

We will take care of the administration process with limited input required from the business – training can start immediately!

Available to all employers throughout Wales

Our approach is fully flexible. We will arrange sessions at times and locations convenient for your organisation, including evening/night and weekend options – at your premises or at our own training facilities. Learning can be delivered one to one or on a group basis – whatever works best for you.
